About Taishan University
Founded in 1958, Taishan University （TSU） is a full-time comprehensive undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education of China in 2002. Taishan University now has 18 colleges and departments, and offers 59 undergraduate programs, 34 associate programs. While still laying stress on teaching education, the university has paid special attention to the development of literature, science, education and management which have become influential in Shandong Province and further in China. In October 2013, there were 18,100 undergraduates, 23 joint postgraduates in Taishan University. From the year 2009, Taishan University has 30 long-term international students from 5 countries in total and has trained 42 overseas Chinese teachers
